Funeral services for Mrs. Susanna Marum were held Wednesday of this week at Bethel Lutheran Church with Rev Staveness officiating.
Mrs. Susanna Marum was born to Andrew and Gertrude Overby at Wanamingo, Minn. March 10, 1865. She was baptized and confirmed in Dale Church, Goodhue County, near Wanamingo. She was married to Ole J Marum in Feb, 1881. They lived in Goodhue County for two years. They moved to Polk County in 1884. They farmed in Sletten Township until March 1941, when they moved to McIntosh, Minn. Mrs Marum passed away June 23, 1962 at the Fosston hospital.
Mrs. Marum was preceded in death by her husband, one son and three daughters. Surviving are one son, Andrew, and one daughter, Mrs. Matilda Dyrdahl of McIntosh, Minn, twelve grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
