Son of Edward Alcott and Eloise/Louisa May (Thompson). In 1900 Edward and his siblings Olive, Gracie and Mabel were living with his mother and step-father Aquilla All in Auburn Oklahoma. Aquilla All and Mrs. Louisa M. Alcott were married in 1895 in Perry Oklahoma.

He married Alice L. Clines Feb 23, 1909 in Chandler Lincoln County Oklahoma. He was residing in San Bernardino, California, age 24 and Alice was of Parkland Oklahoma age 19.

In 1910, Edward G. Alcott age 24 born in Arkansas was living in Redmond Oregon and had a wife Alice age 19 born Missouri and infant daughter Irene F. Alcott born in California. His occupation was that of a farmer.

In 1930 he was in Fresno California age 44, wife Alice age 40 born Missouri and children Edna A age 15 and Mable S. age 13 both born in California. Edward was born in Arkansas, Father in Conneciticut and mother in Missouri. He was a section hand on the steam railroad.

In 1940 he was 53 and wife Leola was 51 in Stockton and he was foreman on the railroad. They had resided in Fresno in 1935.
