Eileen was born in Elnora, AB and raised on the family farm in Delburne where she completed her high school. She moved to Calgary to attend university where in spite of the advancing challenges of MS, she earned her Bachelor of Education degree. She then taught art in Lloydminster while continuing to achieve her Permanent Teaching Certificate.
Eileen will be remembered for her courage, compassion, serenity, and her smile which brought joy to others. She was wonderful and beautiful in every way and will be deeply missed.
Funeral Services held in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Bow Valley Chapel, 24 Avenue and Crowchild Trail NW on Friday, October 6, 2006.
