Mrs. Annie Drane
Mrs. Annie Drane passed away Tuesday, April 12 in West Monore, La., where she lived since the death of her husband, Mr. H. J. Drane in 1951. Mrs. Drane was a member of the Winona Presbyterian Church. She lived in Winona from the time she and Mr. Drane were married in December 1914. They had one son and six daughters, which were all raised in Winona. Mrs. Drane was 86 years old at the time of her death. She passed away in St. Frances hospital after a brief illness.
She is survived by one son, Lee Drane of Ferriday. La.,and five daughters, Mrs. Gretchen Sarphie of McComb, Mrs. Alice Klauss of Forest Park, Ga., Mrs. Mab Fowler, Mrs. Dittie Butler, and Mrs. Mary Ann Parker all of West Monroe, La.; One sister, Mrs. I. 0. Winfre of Leesville, La. 24 grandchildren and 27 great- grandchildren.
Pallbearers were her grandsons, George Klauss III, Jan Klauss, Howard Klauss, Jiffy Fowler, Ronnie Fowler, Billy Parker, Monnie Parker, Rusty Lavendar, Howard Drane, and Johnny Van Drane.
