Mrs. John Bagby, 2402 Wells st., Milwaukee, died at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Capitol hospital in that city. She was a Beloit resident for 36 years before moving to Milwaukee in 1942. She was born June 29, 1897 in Columbia, Mo., and was married there to John Dewey Bagby in 1916, the couple coming that year to Beloit. Mrs. Bagby formerly was employed at the Freeman Shoe corporation.
Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Nicholas Schank, Milwaukee, and Mrs. David Davenport, Rockton; five grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Edward Mosbacker, Milwaukee, and Mrs. Joseph Burton, Higbee, Mo.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Rockton Methodist church, the Rev. W.R. Corvin officiating. Burial wil be in Rockton cemetery. Friends may call at the Rosman-Uehling-Kinzer mortuary after 7:30 Saturday night.
