Duella Robertson
Duella Belle Robertson, 87, of Burlington, died at 11:30 p.m. Sunday, March 16, 2003, at her home.
Born June 24, 1915, in rural Des Moines County, she was the daughter of Edward F. and Zella Wells Witte. On Oct. 11, 1934, she married Floyd A. Robertson in Galesburg, Ill. He died May 26, 1996.
Mrs. Robertson was a homemaker.
She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. She also was a 50-year member of Nellie Walker King's Daughters.
Survivors include four sons, Marvin Robertson and Roger Robertson, both of Winter Haven, Fla., Bob Robertson of Hamilton, Ill., and Allen Robertson of Danville; three daughters, Margie Marshall, Janice Eland and Nancy Robertson, all of Burlington; 21 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; one sister, Fern Swanson of Morning Sun; one brother, Lemoyne Witte of Morning Sun; three nieces; and one nephew.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one son, two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Prugh's Chapel.
The funeral for Mrs. Robertson will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Prugh's Chapel, with the Revs. Trevor Davis and Bob Zirkelbach officiating. Burial will be in Old Stone Cemetery.
Memorials have been established for Grace United Methodist Church and Great River Hospice.
