Mrs. Laurie Beauchamp Chafin, 30, of Patrick Henry Court, Danville, died Wednesday, November 5, 1997 as the result of an automobile accident. Born March 29, 1967 in Ogdensburg, NY, she was a daughter of Mary Beauchamp of Camillous, NY, and the late Napolean Beauchamp. She was marketing manager for Bay West Paper Corporation, Harrodsburg, a graduate of Clarkson University in Pottsdam, NY, and a member of the Catholic Church. Other survivors include her husband, Brian Chafin; three sisters, Ann Tyndel, Mary Guardino and Kathy Lacombe, all of Camillous; four brothers, Robert and Tom Beauchamp, both of Ogdensburg, David Beauchamp of Keene, NH, and John Beauchamp of Camillous. Services were held. Saturday, November 8, at Cathedral of Immaculate Conception, Syracuse, N.Y. Burial was in Fox Wood Memorial Park in Ogdensburg, NY. Visitation was at Buranick Funeral Home in Camillous. Wilder Funeral Home, Perryville, was in charge of local arrangements. Memorials are suggested to Centre College United Way Fund.
