Ruth Rogers Hahs
Ruth Togers Hahs, 74, of Colorado Springs died Thursday at a Colorado Springs hospital. Mrs. Hahs was a retired department manager for May D&F, where she had worked for 15 years. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Evergreen Funeral Home Chaplel, Fountain and Union boulevards, with the Rev. Keith Spahr officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to noon Monday at Evergreen Funeral Home. She was born March 10, 1910, in Colorado springs and lived from 1925 to 1929 in Canon City before returning to the Springs. Her parents were the late Leon and Henrietta (Mitchel) Rogers. She attended Canon City High School and received an associate of arts degree from Colorado Women's College in 1931. She was married in 1933 to John Hahs, who survives her. Mrs. Hahs was a member of Central United Methodist Church. Before employment with May D&F, she worked for Hibbard and Co. and Paint Supply and Glass Co.
