On the 22d inst at the residence of Capt. N. Boone (her son-in-law,) Mrs. Major Vanbeber, aged 104 years. Notwithstanding her great age she retained her senses and presence of mind to the last. Her life has been that of a Christian. By her upright conduct through life she has set an example worthy the imitation of all sex. Her dissolution was easy, and she left this world of trouble in the full hope of enjoying through the ceaseless ages of eternity, the smiles of her God.
