Rosemary "Mickey" Alsdorf, 85, died Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2007, at her home. She was a native of Ottumwa, Iowa, a longtime resident of Abilene, Texas, and a resident of Gulf Shores.
Alsdorf was a member of Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, Albert J. Alsdorf; four children, Carolyn Brown of Gulf Shores, Mark Alsdorf of Albuquerque, N.M., Scott Alsdorf of Abilene and Amy Spoon of Foley; two sisters, Geraldine McGraw Hoffman of San Antonio and Dorothy McGraw Elliot of Knoxville, Iowa; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Pine Rest Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Pine Rest Memorial Park.
A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
The family suggests memorial donations be made to Community Hospice of Baldwin County, 2770 S. McKenzie St., Foley, AL 36535.
