Franklin P. Buffington, 73, route 3, Jones, died Tuesday morning in the home of his daughter, Mrs. Mary Baker, southeast of Oklahoma City. Born in Illinois, Buffington made the run in 1889 to Jones. A member of the Christian church, he was a blacksmith. Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Baker and Mrs. Thelma Buffington, route 2, Jones, a brother, John of Jones. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Baggerley funeral home, Edmond, with burial in Jones IOOF cemetery.
