June Bevan was born Aug. 14, 1922, in Kearney, Nebraska. She married LeRoy "Jack" Bevan on Oct. 19, 1940, in Wichita, Kan.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Jack of Fresno, Calif.; Judith Lewis of Olympia and Eileen Simmons of Cheshire; six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
The graveside service for June will be at 3 pm Sunday, September 16 at Rest Lawn Memorial Park in Junction City. She died Sept. 13 of age-related causes at age 85.
