Obituary 4/3/1964 Nashville, TN: Miss Muriel Coltrane, 51, secretary for missionary education of children of the Methodist Church, died today in Ludhiana, India, church officials announced here.
Miss Coltrane was stricken with meningitis February 24 while on a trip around the world visiting Methodist missionary groups. She was a staff member of the Board of Education of the Methodist Church here and of the Board of Missions of the Methodist Church in New York.
She leaves her mother, Mrs. R.M. Coltrane of Emory, Va,; a sister, Miss Virginia Coltrane of Mount Airy, N.C., and a brother, W.B. Coltrane of Virginia Beach, Va.
