Sarah Wilson Layman, the daughter of Samuel Wilson and Winnie Lee, was born on March 22, 1817 in Kentucky. She was the wife of Jacob Layman, the son of Michael Layman and Sarah Storm. Jacob, known as Jake, was born March 27, 1810 in the newly created Grayson County. They were married on May 4, 1835 in Ohio County, Kentucky. Their security was James Wilson. They were the parents of

They were both buried in the Old Caney Cemetery near Leitchfield, Grayson County, Kentucky where many other of their Layman relatives rest.
