Geraldine Adelsperger, age 95, of Prospect, died Monday morning, Sept. 10, 2007, at the Summerville at Chestnut Hill.

She was born June 3, 1912 in Richwood, the daughter of the late Oliver and Ola (Jerew) Everett.

She was married to Roy L. Adams and then to Kenneth Adelsperger, and both husbands preceded her in death.

Geraldine was formerly a caseworker in the Morrow County Welfare Department before graduating from Ohio Northern University with a degree in education. She taught many years in the Mount Gilead and Pleasant School Districts.
She is survived by a nephew, Jon Everett of Gahanna, along with nieces Linda Kennedy and Cynthia Thorne of Georgia, Mary Jo Everett of Cleveland and Donna Hughes of Florida. A brother, Earl Everett, preceded her in death.

Geraldine was a member of the Prospect United Methodist Church, Prospect Senior Citizens, Order of the Eastern Star, Women's Federation, Artisan's Guild and the Literature Study Club.

She would like to acknowledge her church family at Prospect U.M.C., her neighbors and her friends, who were so important to her.

I had Mrs. Adelsperger as a 4th and 6th grade teacher at Marion Pleasant. She was a great teacher and I am sure all the students she taught over the years were enriched knowing her.
