He was born Aug. 23, 1896, in Carroll County, to William Henry
and Mary Allen Peters. He was married March 14, 1921,' in
Monticello, to Agnes L. Keever, who survives.
He drove a school bus for Lake Cicott School for
21 years and was a retired Jefferson Township farmer.
Also surviving are two daughters, Mary Jane Stowe,
Panama City, Fla., and Joan Leonard, Indianapolis; a
son, Paul E., South Haven, Mich.; 10 grandchildren
and 11 great-grandchildren.
A sister and five brothers preceded in death.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Harrison-Metzger
Funeral Home, Royal Center, with the Rev. Ron Lewellen
officiating. Burial will be in Pisgah Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday and after 8
a.m. Monday in the funeral home.
