Dillon (Special) - Clarence McLaurin, 87, died Wednesday afternoon at McLeod's Infirmary in Florence after several months of declining health. He was a life-long resident of the Minturn community and a prominent farmer of Dillon County.
He is survived by his foster son, T. C. McSwain and his family of the home; one sister, Mrs. C. C. Stokes of McColl, and one brother, J. M. McLaurin of McColl.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 o'clock Friday morning from Reedy Creek Presbyterian Church of which Mr. McLaurin was an elder. Interment will follow in Alford Cemetery.
