Belia Poray "Bell" Woodruff, a homemaker, died Thursday, Aug. 30, 2007, at her home in Baton Rouge. She was 48 and a native of Baton Rouge.

She is survived by her mother, Clara Dehon Poray, of Port Allen; daughter, Crystal Woodruff, and stepdaughter, Rhonda Varese, both of Baton Rouge; two sons, Gilbert Shuler Jr. and Frank Woodruff Jr. and wife Delisha, all of Baton Rouge; seven sisters and brothers-in-law, Lena Green and Roosevelt Taylor, Ethel and Robertson Joseph, Josie and Shawn Mack, Diane and Ron Julian, all of Baton Rouge, and Delores and Fredrick Brown, Mary and David Shaffer, and Jacqueline and Eric Frank, all of Port Allen; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Louis Jr. and Rose Poray, of Port Allen, and Sidney Sr. and Almena Poray, of Baton Rouge; brother-in-law, Charles Bolden Sr., of Baton Rouge; six grandchildren; mother-in-law, Gladys Woodruff; five brothers-in-law by union, Arthur Woodruff, Carlos G. Woodruff, Earnest Sr. and wife Rose Woodruff, the Rev. Leroy and wife Joann Franklin, and Henry C. Woodruff; and two sisters-in-law, Joann Gotch and husband Peter and Joyce Summervill.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Woodruff Sr.; son, Kelton Shuler; father, Louis Poray Sr.; and sister, Hazel Bolden.
