She was united in marriage to Mr. Edward Stephenson November 29, 1894. To this union was born one son, Clifford, who preceeded her in death ten years ago.
Mrs. Stephenson spent her entire life in this county until seventeen years ago, since then she has made her home at St. Paul, Minnesota, and Fargo, North Dakota.
She early gave her life to Christ and has ever remained a humble follower of the Savior. She was a great lover of nature and the beautiful appealed to her.
She was kind to all, a dutiful daughter and an affectionate wife. Physically she was frail, but mentally and spiritually she was strong.
She leaves to mourn her departure her husband, mother, Mrs. Caleb Norman, two sisters, Mrs. Jay Mosher and Mrs. Dr. Lasche, with many more distant relatives and friends. The funeral services were conducted from the church at Woodstock where her many friends were present to pay their last tribute of respect, interment being made in the cemetery at that place.
