Dulcinea "Candy" Baca, age 73, a resident of Bosque, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 5. She was a member of Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eduardo and Josefina Harris; sister, Dolores Sanchez; brothers, Charlie, George, Ernulfo, Eloy, Carlos and Jimmy Harris.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 51 years, Abelicio Baca of Bosque; son, Leroy of Bosque; three daughters, Carlyne McKinley and husband, Kevin of Chico, Texas, Louise Spillers and husband, Randy of Virginia Beach, Va., and Lillian Smith and husband, Marde, of San Diego; 16 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one brother, Tony Harris; five sisters, Della Davis, Jennie Haskins, Margie Taylor, Theresa Alberta Harris and Frances Stirling.

A viewing was held on Friday, Sept. 7, at Romero Funeral Home Chapel followed by a rosary. A final visitation will be held on Saturday, Sept. 8, at Cristo Rey Church in Bosque at 10:30 a.m. with a funeral Mass to be celebrated at 11 a.m. with Father Steve Sanchez presiding. Interment will follow at Cristo Rey Cemetery in Bosque.
