He worked for The New York Times for 35 years. For more than 35 years, he was a Volunteer Fireman in Franklin Square. Dave was a member of the Knights of Columbus, the Ancient Order of Hibernians, and the VFW. David graduated from H Frank Carey HS, Franklin Square, NY in 1965
