He is the son of George Augustus Wackerhagen and Christina Rockefeller of New York.
He was first married to Margaret S. Depuy. Their children are:
1. Charles E. (Mabel)
2. Marie L. (Edmund S. Kieselburg, Harold Gunderson) of Chicago.
He married second, Rellah Cooke (Norwalk Frazer, Lee George). Their children are:
1. Gladys (Alfred F Biles Jr)
2. Rudolph George (Lois A McMurphy)
