He professed simple vows in St. Joseph Cupertino Friary at Ellicott City, Maryland. His solemn profession was made on September 23, 1943 in his home parish of St. Josaphat Basilica at Milwaukee, WI. He was 79 years old and in the 55th year of his religious profession. Br. Seraphin was preceded in death by his brother, Fr. Roman, OFM Conv., who died on June 26, 1966. Seraphin will long be remembered for his easy going nature, his sense of simplicity and friendly manner. He rests in St. Adalbert Cemetery, Milwaukee, WI.
