Funeral services for Bro. Calobe "C.L." Moore of Leggett were held from the Bethel Baptist Church in Bold Springs, with Bro. Frank Hood officiating, assisted by Harold Isaacs, Frank Aragon, Johnny Buller, Ervin Stewart and Bryan Dickens.

Interment followed in Crossroads Cemetery in Leggett.

Mr. Moore died April 14 at his residence in Leggett.

He was born Sept. 24, 1899 in East Tempe, the son of William Cyrus Moore and Carrie Burks Moore.

He married the former Clara Eaton on Aug. 11, 1929. She was the daughter of Elijah Webb and Emma Louise Watson-Eaton. Mr. Moore pastured in Polk, San Jacinto, Hardin and Tyler counties. He was pastor of Bethel Baptist Church for 44 years and ministered for over 60 years.

He was preceded in death by one grandson, John Hoyt Isaacs.

Survivors include his wife, Clara Eaton Moore; two daughters, Gracie and husband Frank Hood and Judy and husband Harold Isaacs; nine grandchildren, Melody "Aragon and husband Frank, Cindy Sheffield and husband John, Mary Booth and husband Paul Andy Hood, Bobby Isaacs; nine grandchildren, Melody Aragon and husband Frank, Cindy Sheffield and husband John, Mary Booth and husband Paul Andy Hood, Bobby Isaacs and wife Donna, Sam Eaton and husband Mark, Darla Attaway and husband Dwight, Jason Wayne Stephens and his namesake, Calobe Reed Isaacs; 12 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and dear friends.

Pace Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
