Auto Race Car Driver. He was the son of NASCAR series champion Bobby Allison and nephew of driver Donnie Allison. Following his brother, Davey, Clifford started racing in 1983 in various series from late models to ARCA and it wasn't long before he made it to the NASCAR Busch Series in 1990. He would race in twenty-two races over three seasons in the Busch series. On August 13, 1992, Clifford was practicing for the Detroit Gasket 200 at Michigan International Speedway when his car crashed between turns three and four. He succumbed to his injuries from the crash on the way to a local hospital at the age of 27.
