Lydia A. Staubus, 74, who resided with her son, Roger, died at 12:31 a.m. Monday at Brokaw Hospital. Before before moving to Bloomington-Normal, she lived in Danvers.
She was born May 1, 1906, in Dry Grove Township, a daughter of Emanuel and Eva Malcohm Zook. She married Hubert C. Staubus Dec. 10, 1925, in Danvers. He died March 24, 1977.
Surviving, besides her son, are a daughter, Carol Biefeldt, Sibley; a brother, Roy Normal; two sisters, Faye Felker, Normal, and Eva Maie Spaid, Normal; and six grandchildren.
She was member of Park United Methodist Church, Bloomington, and a former member of McLean County Homemaker's Extension Association.
