Donald R. Shifflett, 43, of 132 Mill Pond Road, Mechanicsburg, formerly of Lancaster, died Tuesday at home after a long illness.
He worked as a computer programmer until he became ill.

Surviving in addition to his parents are a daughter, Cassandra, at home; a brother, Kenneth E., husband of Sally Shifflett of Pequea; a sister, Sharon L. of Lancaster; and paternal grandmother, Geraldine P. Elliott of Mountville.
