Vera May Tramel, 87, formerly of 4021 N. Sterling Ave., died Sunday, Nov. 7, 2004, at ManorCare Health Services.
Born June 16, 1917, in Pontiac to Harry and Mary Ann Wolf Kaiser, she married Carl R. Tramel on July 30, 1938, in Pontiac. He died May 10, 1993, in Peoria.
She also was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
Surviving are one son, Roger (and Lynn) of Peoria; one daughter, Marcia (and Bill) Nelson of Algonquin; one brother, Parnell Kaiser of Washington; and one sister, Jen Cherry of Harvey.
She was a credit manager for Carson Pirie Scott for 25 years.
Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
