Kyle is about to find the headstone for John Davidson that hasn't seen the light of day for a long time. Further to the right, where Joe is looking, should be another headstone, because there is a footstone still in place there. On another day, the headstone for John's son, John (Jr.), was found through probing the ground.

Gravesite Details
He is buried next to his wife Nancy and son John and near son Silas Davidson. His footstone has been removed for restoration, and was just a few inches from John Holtzclaw's marker. Between these two was an old fence.
