Obituary: Clyde Clark Died at Hospital. Clyde Clark of South D Street, died Thursday at 2:32 p.m. at the Community Memorial Hospital.

The son of Hellex Segal [sic. Should be Helic Seigal] and Leota (Norris) Clark, he was born Oct 12, 1900 at Monmouth where he spent his early life and attended high school. His marriage to Florence Sterns took place Oct 15, 1921 at Burlington, Ia., and she preceded him in death. Mr Clark was a restaurant owner. He was a member of t he First Christian church, and also held membership in the Moose Lodge No. 3705 of Galesburg.

Survivors include a son, Robert D Clark of Leonard, Michigan, a foster daughter Mrs Lewis (Martha) Giddings of Monmouth, ten grandchildren and one great-grandson. Besides his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 3 p.m. at the First Christian Church in charge of the pastor, the Rev. Ellis Beeman. Burial will take place in Monmouth cemetery.

Friends may call at the Turnbull Funeral Home.

A memorial fund has been established in memory of Mr Clark for the First Christian Church. Those who care to make memorials may leave them at the Turnbull Funeral Home.
