Stella Laminack Bryles, 84, of Pine Bluff, died Friday at her home.

She was born Jan. 10, 1921, at Grapevine, a daughter of the late James Luther Laminack and Lillian Daniel Laminack.

She was reared at Grapevine, graduating from Grapevine High School in 1939.

She worked as a sales clerk for Shell-Ross for 20 years.

She was a member of Central Presbyterian Church, where she kept the nursery for 50 years. She kept the nursery for many years during "Mother's Day Out" at Central Presbyterian and First Methodist Church.

She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Pines Chapter 517 and Volunteers in Public Schools.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Herman W. Bryles, whom she married on Nov. 10, 1940, at Pine Bluff; two brothers, James C. Laminack and Horace L. Laminack; and two sisters, Pauline Laminack and Eula Laminack Bryles.

Survivors include one son, Herman Bryles of Jefferson; one daughter, Brenda Bryles Provost of Pine Bluff; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Directors with the Revs. David King and John Shell officiating. Burial will be in Clement Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
