Born in Corpus Christi Texas and attended Floyd Moody High where he was a member of the NJROTC Program and a member of the varsity football team. Following graduation he enlisted in the United States Air Force, serving his country for over twenty six years.
He is survived by his wife, a daughter, his father and brothers.
