Marjorie "Bunny" Betters, passed away peacefully at the age of 72 in UPMC Shadyside Hospital on Thursday, August 16, 2007, surrounded by her loving husband and family.

She was born Marjorie Ann Timm in East Fairhaven, Massachusetts, on June 13, 1935, daughter of John Timm and Edna (Laiscell) Timm.

"Bunny" dedicated her life to her family. She was a very loving homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Harold Betters; children: Kevin Betters, Connellsville, Cheryl (Betters) Kelly and husband Glenn, Connellsville and Curtis Betters and wife Meme, West Mifflin, Pa.; grandsons: Justin Kelly of Donora, Pa., Shawn Kelly and Patrick Kelly of Connellsville and Harold (Joey) Betters of West Mifflin; granddaugh-ters: Marissa Fenwick, West Mifflin and Janae Rosendale, Uniontown, Pa.; sisters: Alice Barboza, Massachusetts and Ellen Fenner, New Jersey; brother, Frederick Timm, Connecticut; niece, Jennifer Redman and her husband Chuck, Dickerson Run, Pa.; a great-grandson, Carter Rosen-dale, Uniontown; nephews: Will Redman and Justice Redman of Dickerson Run; and numerous cousins.

"Bunny" was predeceased her parents, sister, Dorothy Taber, and brothers, Thomas (Poppy) Timm, Henry Timm, Robert (Woody) Timm, John Timm and Lester Timm.

Bunny will be remembered as a devoted friend to all. She will be sadly missed and will always remain in the heart of her family and friends who loved her so much.

There will be no viewing or funeral service; however, there will be a "Celebration of Bunny's Life" on Saturday, September 8, 2007, from 1 to 5 p.m. at Bell's Steak and Seahouse (formerly "The Barn") at the corner of Routes 982 and 31, outside of Mount Pleasant, Pa., to which all family and friends are welcome.

In lieu of flowers, cards may be sent to: 407 East Francis Avenue, Connellsville, PA 15425.

The family wishes to sincerely thank everyone for the outpouring of love through kind words, cards, letters and prayers. They would like to request that their privacy please be respected at this difficult time, with no calls made to the home.
