HOLLIMAN, Mrs. Lula Lee (J. F.) of Rockdale. Age 94. Died 8/2/1974 (Friday) at Richards Hospital in Rockdale. Services held 8/4 (Sunday) at Phillips & Luckey Chapel, Rockdale. Burial in IOOF Cemetery, Rockdale. Bro. Walter Blackmon of New Providence Primitive Baptist Church at Maysfield officiated. Grandsons were pallbearers.

She was BORN 3/29/1880 near Rockdale the eldest of 10 children born to Martin and Parlee Tuma. Married John Thomas Whiteley 9/1/1895 and 10 children were born to them. Mr. Whiteley died 7/16/1913. She then married James F. Holliman, a widower with 3 children, on 12/8/1915, this marriage produced 5 children, a total of 18 children. Mr. Holliman died 4/18/1970. She lived all her life in or near Rockdale. Member of above church and a charter member of the new Salem Home Demonstration Club. Preceding her in death were children Martin, Fannie, Seburne, Fred and Velma of the Whiteley's and James F., Jr. (Jake) of the Holliman's.

SURVIVING CHILDREN: Grace Hagnes, Louis Whiteley, Mary Etta Fails, Howard Whiteley, Johnnie Whiteley, Walter Holliman, Alcie Chaddock, Ruth Robinson, Ruby Ellis, Albert Holliman, Clyde Holliman, Elton Holliman; Surviving brothers and sisters: Anton, Walter, Emerson, and Paul Tuma, Bettie Holliman and Cassie Rettig; large number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
