Son of the late James and Cunegunda (Solchenberger) Ennis. He served in the US Army during WW-II. He is suvived by his wife, Anira of Kenosha; four sons, Lyle (Rosa) Ennis of Milwaukee, Allan Ennis and Steven (Patricia) Ennis both of Kenosha and Merlin (Renee) Ennis of
Albuquerque, New Mexico; a daughter, Rita (Michael) Gutowski of Milwaukee; three sisters, Marie Stahlke of Wonewoc, WI, Rosalie (Gerald) Sanderson of Elroy, WI, and Marion (James) Roiniotis of Racine.

He is preceded in death by four brothers, Sylvester, Irwin, Lawrence and Fr. James Ennis; and four sisters, Agnes Sebranek, Alice Sebranek, Leona Lankey and Monica Sosinski.
