Appendicitis Fatal – Funeral Sunday Afternoon at 1 o’clock
Thomas Brownlos Baker, son of Mr. and Mrs. J.M. Baker of R
Route w, Ottawa, died this morning at 11:50 o’clock at Ransom memorial hospital. He became ill Sunday and was moved Monday to the hospital. He underwent an operation for appendicitis, from which he was unable to recover.
The deceased was 24 years old. Thomas B. Baker was born May 31, 1906 at Baldwin. He is survived by the parents, two brother Edgar J. Baker, Route 2 and Charles R. Baker, Paola and three sisters, Mrs. John Love, Miss Mabel Baker, and Mrs. Pauline Burgoon, all of Ottawa. The family moved here from Iowa 15 years ago.
The funeral is to be held Sunday afternoon at 1 o’clock from the Lamb Funeral Home. Interment will be in Stony Point cemetery, north of Baldwin.
