Son to the late Kajetan & Joepine (Gburkowski) Czarnecki. He served in the US Army during Korea. He was a retired Lieutentant from the Kenosha Fire Department. He was in Scouting and an Ushers Club with St. Mary's Church. He was the Director for Firefighters Sports for Youth, past president of the St. Jude's League of Kenosha, PRCU, Third Degree Member of the Knights of Columbus Councel #973, PLAV Post #34 and VFW Post # 1865.

He is survived by his wife, Janice, sons, Thomas, Gerald, Richard and Karen. He is preceded in death by his brothers, George, Henry and Edmund.
