Mrs. Sallie Richards of Rialto died Friday at her home, 112 South Orange street, where she had lived for 23 years. She was 79 years old, native of Missouri, and had lived in Rialto and California 23 years.
Survivors are a son, Bud Richards of Nevada; four daughters Mrs. Lula Mann of San Jose, Mrs. Nancy Howe, Costa Mesa, Mrs Phoebe Todd, Cypress, and Mrs. Rachel De Pugh of Rialto; a niece, Mrs. Sloan of Rialto; three sisters, Mrs. Mollie Mollison and Mrs. Mattie Barrett of Missouri, Miss Lizzie Bradshaw of Arizona; and a brother, J. R. Bradshaw of Arizona, 15 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Final rites will be held Monday at 11:30 a.m. at the chapel of Simpson's Funeral home, with burial in Park cemetery.

Funeral services for Mrs, Sallie Richards were conducted at 11:30 a.m. Monday from Simpson's funeral home in Rialto, with the Rev. Manford W. Bennett of the First Methodist Episcopal church officiating. "Jesus Savior, Pilot Me," "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere" and Sometime We'll Understand" were played by Barbara Scott, organist. Pallbearers were Charles Mayes, Clarence Todd, Arthur Howe, Grant Howe, Dean Depugh and Bill Cope. Interment was in Park cemetery, Rialto.
