She was BORN 11/29/1875 in the state of Alabama to Frank & Belle Jackson. She moved to Texas with her parents at 10 yrs. of age and settled in Salty Comm. Married John A. Berry in 1894. She united with the church in early girlhood and was a member of the Trinity Methodist Church of Thorndale. Preceded in death by husband, John A. Berry in 1952, son, Sanford and a daughter, Lora Mae, affectionately called "Kid".
SURVIVORS: 4 sons, Wilford and Luther Berry of Austin, Lee and O.M. Berry of Houston; 2 daughters, Mrs. (Connie B.) Guy Phillips and Mrs. (Johnnie) W.D. Reeves of Thorndale; 2 sisters, Mrs. Frank Williamson of Thorndale, Mrs. Ollie Copeland of Rockdale; 19 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
