Lillian Lee Fowler McDaniel, 93, of Stigler, Oklahoma, died November 12, 2006 surrounded by family and friends at the Haskell County Nursing Home.
Services were Tuesday at 2:00 pm at the Mallory-Martin Chapel and graveside services were at Antioch Cemetery, Stigler, Oklahoma. Services were lead by Reverend Matt Judkins. Pallbearers were Mike Cantrell, Jeff Wallen, Travis Duren, Jerry Fowler, Pete Fowler, and Charlie Mongomery.
Lillian was born February 1, 1913 near McCurtain in Haskell County to Rube and Mary Elizabeth Stroub Fowler. She married Harmon McDaniel on October 18, 1929 and they spent nearly all their married life in Stigler.
She is survived by her daughter, Delores "Dee" Smith and her husband Gerald Smith of Longtown, Ok.; two grandchildren: Nancy McCorkle and her husband, Stewart, and their two sons Taylor and Parker of Plano, Texas, and Larry McDaniel and his sons, Michael and Jacob of Inola, Ok.; her sister Faye Wallen, and her brother, Clifford Fowler, and special friend June Lohman.
She is preceeded in death by her husband, Harmon McDaniel; her son, Don McDaniel; grandson, Mark Smith; brothers: George Fowler, R.B. Fowler, Johnny Fowler; and sisters: Ruby Mongomery, Helen Henry, Gertie Duren, and Billie Jean Loudermilk
