Charlotte A. Chennault, 65, of Greenville died early in the morning on Aug. 15, 2007, at her home. Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home with Barry Graham, Jason Hammack and Gary Hammack officiating. Burial is in Memoryland Memorial Park.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
The daughter of Arthur and Elaine A. Hammack Daugherty, she was born July 21, 1942, in Cash. On March 21, 1969, she was married to Thomas Wayne Chennault in Greenville. She was a homemaker and a member of Pecan Grove Church of Christ.
Mrs. Chennault was a former board member for Aglow and currently served on the board of "A Woman's Heart Pregnancy Resource Clinic." She had also been a member of the Red Hat Society and Hunt County Doll Club from 1988 to 2005.
Surviving are her husband of Greenville; a son and daughter-in-law, Kyle K. and Leah Chennault of Greenville; one sister, Shirley McClendon of Mesquite; and a grandchild, Thayer Chennault.
She was preceded in death by her father on May 12, 1987; her mother on Nov. 20, 1996; and a brother, Philip Daugherty on March 21, 1997.
Pallbearers are Jerry Coats, Bob Jackson, Johnny Jackson, David Chennault, Jimmy Chennault and Keith Chennault. Honorary pallbearers are Mike Stephenson and Kyle Jones.
