Seabrook-Rita S. Bernier, 86, of 3 Virginia Lane, died Thursday, March 18, 1999, at Sunrise Nursing Home, Exeter, after a lengthy illness.
She was born Sept. 10, 1912, in Hampton, the daughter of the late Walter and Laura (Bragg) Brown. She was a longtime resident of Sandborn Street in Exeter and had resided in Seabrook for 10 years.
Mrs. Bernier was a shoe worker at Wise and Al Rose Shoe companies.
She enjoyed reading.
The widow of leon Bernier, who died in 1976, she is survived by one daughter, Marilyn Schultz of Stratham; one grandson, Jason Schultz of Seabrook; one sister, Donna Hunter of Hampton; and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Monday in St. Michael Church, Exeter. Burail was in Exeter Cemetery, Exeter.
