On February 6, 1930 in Marshalltown, Ia., he married Pearl Myers, she survives. Also surviving are four children, Mrs. Max (Betty) Anderson and Roy "Junior" (Marilyn) Blessing, Downing, Mrs. Aaron (Wilma) Collis, Queen City, and Robert (Constance) Blessing, LaGrange, Mo.; seven grandchildren and eight great-granchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, George Blessing and Guy Blessing; and one sister, Mrs. Paul (Marie) Farland.
Mr. Blessing was employed as a milk carrier for the Kahoka Cheese Company for 25 years and farmed in the Downing area. He was a member of the Coffey Christian Church.
