Qazi Muhummad Barkatullah, Ph.D., 75, a professor at JSU for 30 years, died Tuesday, October 4, 2006, at Central Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. Services are 11 AM Saturday in the family suite of Lakewood Funeral Home with burial in Lakewood Memorial Park.
Dr. Barkatullah is survived by his wife, Nasira Barkatullah; three sons, Zia Barkatullah and wife, Aisha, of Indianapolis, Noaman Barkatullah, and Rizwan Barkatullah, both of Clinton; three brothers; and one sister.
