Theresa K. Volm, age 106, of St .Kilian, passed away on Monday, Jan. 3, 2005, at Manor Care Health Services in Fond du Lac.
She was born on Oct. 27, 1898, in St. Kilian, the daughter of the late Paul and Barbara Melzer Kohler.
On June 16, 1925, she was united in marriage to Philip J. Volm at St. Kilian Catholic Church in St. Kilian. Her husband preceded her in death on June 28, 1982.
Theresa was a lifelong member of St. Kilian Catholic Church in St. Kilian and a member of St. Mary's Sodality.
Survivors include two daughters, Betty (Elroy) Schrauth and Grace (Raymond) Boegel, both of Campbellsport; 12 grandchildren, Daniel (Mary) Schrauth, Steven (Jackie) Schrauth, James (Sally) Schrauth, Ronald (Robin( Schrauth, Joann (Dennis (Herriges, Dave (Nance) Boegel, Mary (Robert) Twohig, Dorothy (Richard) Leider, Margie (Ron) Stommel, Cathy (Tim) Flood, Pauline (Gary) Runge and Geralyn ((Ray) Maurer; 34 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and other relatives and friends.
Theresa was preceded in death by three brothers, Peter, Arthur and Oscar Kohler; two sisters, Frances Volm and Agnes Volm; two great-grandchildren, Brian Leider and Jeffrey Schrauth; two brothers-in-law, Ewald Volm and Aloysius Volm and his wife, Alice Volm; and a sister-in-law, Amalia Volm.
Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 6, 2005, at St. Kilian Catholic Church I St. Kilian. The Rev. Neil Zinthefer will officiate, and burial will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 7, at the parish cemetery.
Visitation: Friends may call from 3 p.m. until the time of services on Thursday, Jan. 6, 2005, at the church.
The Miller Funeral Home in Kewaskum is serving the family.
