SILVERTON - Annie Irene Loyd, 95, died Saturday, Aug. 11, 2007, in Lubbock.
Services were at 2 p.m. Wednesday in First Baptist Church in Silverton with Brian West officiating. Burial was in Silverton Cemetery by Chancellor Funeral Home.
Annie was born Aug. 2, 1912, in Seymour to William and Cora Uptergrove. She married Truman Loyd on March 5, 1938, in Hale Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a daughter, Melba Williamson; a son, Truman Earl Loyd; four brothers; and two sisters.
Survivors include a son, Bailey Loyd of Silverton; a daughter, Anita Cooper and husband Billy of Lubbock; a son-in-law, Jack Williamson of Olton; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to the Silverton EMS.
