She was born in Meade County Oct. 6, 1890, a daughter of John Trent and Lizzie Wardrip Trent. She was married to Emmons B. Benham in November 1910 and to them nine children were born.
She is survived by her husband and three children. Ella Ray Streible, Lucy Jeanetta Jupin and Ernest Tom Benham all of Brandenburg; six grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Harvey Wilcox of Brandenburg; Mrs. Charles Doebrich of Cincinnati, Ohio; John and Claude Trent, both of Brandenburg.
Funeral services were held Sunday, Nov. 24. at New Brandenburg Baptist Church, of which she was a member, conducted by Rev. C. A. Richardson, pastor. Burial was in the church cemetery directed by Wright Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Robert Trent, William Pack, Ernest Benham, Ralph Worley, Gilbert Benham, Lewis Shrewsbury.
