MRS. MARY MELZER
Mrs. Mary Melzer, 89, of rural Allenton, died at 9:30 a.m. today at her home.

The former Mary Schweitzer was born May 8, 1877, in St. Lawrence. She was married to Frank Melzer at St. Anthony in 1901. He died April 10, 1935.

Mrs. Melzer was a member of St. Kilian Catholic Church and St. Mary's Sodality.

Survivors include one son, Joseph, with whom she resided; one daughter, Mrs. Sophie Weninger, Rural Brownsville; four grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Caroline Jazak, West Bend, and Mrs. Julia Ritzer, rural West Bend. She was preceded in death by six
brothers and three sisters.

Funeral arrangements are pending at the Miler Funeral Home, Kewaskum, and will be announced on Tuesday.
