SOMERVILLE - Earl 'Red' Cannon Jr., 60, former machinist for Walker Machine Products in Collierville, died Wednesday at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Peebles Fayette County Funeral Home with burial in Perry Cemetery in Laconia. He was a member of Warren Community Church, and a former wrestler and stock car racer. Mr. Cannon, the husband of Mary Esther Barkley Cannon, also leaves three sons, Wesley Cannon of Williston, and Lee Cannon and Justin Cannon, both of Somerville; his mother, Vodie Cannon of Williston; five sisters, Lorraine King of Somerville, Patricia Kimery of Moscow, and Ollie York, Shelia Eddington and Audrey McQueen, all of Williston; a brother, Aubrey Cannon of Whiteville, and three granddaughters.
