Mr. William D."Bill" Stough, 78, born in Fayette, Alabama and a resident of Bay Minette, Alabama, died Saturday, January 6, 2007 at his residence. He was a superintendent (retired) with the county highway department and was a World War II veteran having served with the U. S. Navy
He is survived by his wife, Betty (Boehm) Stough, Bay Minette, AL.; seven children, Perry Stough, Colbert, GA., Russell Stough, Robertsdale, AL., Mac Wofford, Fayetteville, GA., Charlotte Phillips, Pensacola, FL., Eddie McGinn, White House Fork, Barbara Lanham, Bay Minette, AL., Margaret Watson, Pine Grove; his sister, Lois Ballard, Fayette, AL.; fifteen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren
The funeral service will be held Monday, January 8, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Sister Marie Jordan officiating. Interment will follow at Bay Minette Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Mitchell Lanham, Marshall Lanham, Jimmy Wasdin, Timmy Wasdin, David Phillips and Josh Stough.
The family will receive friends Sunday, January 7, 2007 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Home.
Funeral arrangements are by Norris Funeral Home, 402 East Second Street, Bay Minette, Alabama.
